Eppendorf Centrifuge 5804/ 5804 R – Benchtop Centrifuge

Models 5804 and 5804 R are ideal for deep well plates or molecular applications in large-volume tubes up to 100 mL (max. 15,500 x g). The optional 4 x 250 mL swing-bucket rotor adds flexibility and makes Models 5804 and 5804 R winners for medium throughput laboratories.

The Eppendorf 5804R has a maximum RCF of 20913 x g and 14000 RPM and delivers the same punch as the Eppendorf 5810R but with a smaller footprint. To help conserve energy and extend compressor life, this benchtop centrifuge shuts down after 8 hours of non-use.

Rotor S–4–72

Use Eppendorf swing-bucket centrifuge rotor Rotor S–4–72 for medium-throughput molecular applications. Offering speeds of up to 3,234 x g (4,200 rpm) and a broad range of adapters, it easily handles all common tube formats from 0.2 mL to 250 mL. Its aerodynamic round bucket design saves up to 48 % energy compared to Rotor A–4–62. Buckets and adapters are autoclavable.

Rotor for high-speed centrifugation

Eppendorf Rotor FA–45–6–30 (6 x 50 mL) with Eppendorf QuickLock lid can be used at a maximum speed of 20,130 x g (12,100 rpm) in Centrifuge 5810 R and 16,639 x g (11,000 rpm) in the 5804, 5804 R and 5810. It is aerosol-tight for safe centrifugation of hazardous samples and uses Eppendorf QuickLock technology for fast rotor lid locking.

Its low rotor weight of 3.2 kg improves handling to make everyday work more comfortable. A 45° borehole angle minimizes pellet smear along the tube wall.
